\"\"<\/a>Bob Gale, co-creator, writer, producer of\u00a0 Back to the Future, Back to the Future 2, and Back to the Future 3, recently sent out a message to the millions of Back to the Future fans.<\/p>\n

The message asks everyone and anyone who may have any the original parts from any of the Back to the Future cars to contact TimeMachineRestoration@gmail.com. The reason Mr. Gale is asking this is because he is spearheading a campaign to restore the screen used “A” Delorean car used in all three Back to the Future films.The car, which has resided outdoors as part of Universal Studios Hollywood Backlot Tour is in need of restoration after being outside in the elements these many years.<\/p>\n

A message from Bob Gale, co-creator, co-writer and co-producer of the Back to the Future<\/em> Trilogy<\/strong>Great news for Back to the Future<\/em> fans — and a request for help!<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

First..the great news (and no, it’s not another Back to the Future<\/em> movie): I’m proud to announce that a complete museum quality restoration of the Back to the Future<\/em> “A” Car DeLorean is about to begin! As so many fans already know, the various DeLoreans used in the trilogy were designated by letter, based on how detailed they were. The “A” car was the very best of them, and was used in all three films. Unfortunately, after years of being displayed outdoors, the elements took their toll on this very special vehicle, so I successfully spearheaded a campaign to do something about it.<\/p>\n

\"DeLorean<\/p>\n

The actual work will be done by three of the biggest BTTF DeLorean fanatics I know: Joe Walser, J Ryan and Terry Matalas, all of whom have been involved in creating picture-perfect BTTF DeLorean replicas. (J’s car can be seen in one of the special features in the recent BTTF Trilogy Blu-ray.)<\/p>\n

If so, you’ll be duly acknowledged as a contributor to the restoration.<\/p>\n
