\"\"<\/a>I am typing this article from an airplane flying back to New York from California after a visit to auction house, Profiles in History<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. Movie Prop Collectors<\/em> was fortunate to obtain a special showing of many of the amazing, rare, and historic props, costumes, and art work from Profiles<\/em>\u00a0 “Icons of Hollywood<\/em><\/strong><\/a>” auction being held December 15th,16th, & 17th at The Paley Center for Media<\/a><\/em><\/strong> in Beverly Hills, CA.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This unprecedented three day auction will feature many never before available items from some of Hollywood’s most beloved films.<\/p>\n

Each day of the auction will focus on a different entertainment element, including rare photographs, signatures, film art, original props and costumes from television and motion pictures, as well animation art.<\/p>\n

To start, here are a few exclusive photographs of the many auction items before the catalog comes out the end of this week or the beginning of next. In the coming days I will be adding more content, including HD video presentations of the props, costumes, and artwork being offered in the auction, by CEO<\/em> of Profiles in History<\/em>, Joe Maddalena<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

This sneak peak includes a few images of Judy Garland’s<\/strong><\/a>\/Dorothy’s<\/strong><\/em> Red Ruby Slippers<\/em><\/span> and Blue Pinafore Dress<\/em><\/span> from the MGM<\/em> classic,<\/span> “<\/span>The Wizard of<\/span> Oz<\/span><\/a><\/em><\/strong>“. Tomorrow night, see photos of Marilyn Monroe’s<\/a><\/em><\/strong> wedding ring from Joe DiMaggio<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, Michael J Fox’s<\/strong><\/a>\/Marty McFly’s<\/strong><\/a><\/em> Cowboy hat from “Back to the Future 3<\/a><\/em><\/strong>” and more.<\/p>\n
