\"\"<\/a>Premier auction house, Profiles in History<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, are going to auction an original, screen used pair of Dorothy’s\u00a0 Ruby Slippers<\/em> worn by Judy Garland<\/em><\/strong><\/a> in the MGM<\/em><\/strong><\/a> classic, The Wizard of Oz<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Debbie Reynolds<\/a><\/em><\/strong> Arabian<\/em> test pair slippers sold this past June for\u00a0 $612,000 at Profiles in History Debbie Reynolds Auction<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The shoes are near mint condition and are marked “#7 Judy Garland<\/em>” on the inside of the shoes. The soles are painted red, with light round scuffs on the soles. This pair is believed to be the same shoes Judy<\/em> was wearing in the close-up shots where she clicked her heels together to return home. The shoes are also thought to be the same pair on the witches feet peeking out from under Dorothy’s<\/em> house early in the film.<\/p>\n

The estimate for the shoes are $2 to $3 million dollars.<\/p>\n
