At Saturday\u2019s Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Nicotero won Best Prosthetic Make-up for AMC\u2019s \u201cThe Walking Dead.\u201d\u00a0 Nicotero directs a series of webisodes this season and is also set to direct an episode.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cGreg’s<\/em><\/strong><\/span> talent extends well beyond the word of special fx makeup,\u201d said Joel Stillerman, AMC\u2019s SVP of original programming, production and digital content.\u00a0 \u201cHe is also a truly talented director, and has an incredibly comprehensive understanding and appreciation for great storytelling. It focuses on \u201cBicycle Girl,\u201d the infamous zombie from season one, who was shot by Rick Grimes in the pilot episode.
