<\/a>This\u00a0 Sunday, May 29th, The Los Angeles Museum of Art<\/strong><\/em><\/a> starts a 5 month exhibition of director, writer, artist, and photographer, Tim Burton’s career and creations.<\/p>\nThe exhibition was organized and started here in New York last year at The Museum of Modern Art<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (MOMA) and was a huge success. Click The MOMA link for the original exhibition page that still works \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n Featured are original puppets, art, drawings, costumes and more from Mr. Burton’s vast archive.<\/p>\n Here is part of the announcement from the museum web site:<\/p>\n The exhibition brings together over 700 drawings, paintings, photographs, moving-image works, storyboards, puppets, concept artworks, maquettes, costumes, and cinematic ephemera, including art from a number of unrealized and little-known personal projects. Many of these objects come from the artist’s own archive, as well as from studio archives and private collections of Burton’s collaborators. Hundreds of never-before-exhibited artworks and sketches will be joined by a selection of film posters accompanied by music composed for the exhibition by Burton’s longtime collaborator Danny Elfman.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n The exhibition runs May 29th ~ Oct 31st. General Admission<\/strong><\/a> is $20 and LACMA members and those 17 and under are admitted free. <\/em><\/p>\n Each ticket is good for a specific date and time. <\/em><\/p>\n There are no refunds or exchanges.<\/em><\/p>\n
