<\/a>Tonight, Van Eaton Galleries<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, located at 13613 Ventura Blvd Sherman Oaks, CA ,\u00a0hosted a preview reception for\u00a0day\u00a0one auction\u00a0items\u00a0featured in Profiles in History’s Hollywood Auction 44<\/a><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\nBeing held May 14th and15th at the Saban Theatre<\/a><\/em><\/strong> 8440 Wilshire Blvd in\u00a0Beverly Hills, C.A, the auction is generating quite a bit of press on the once in a lifetime opportunity for the public to acquire\u00a0original props, costumes, artwork, and ephemera\u00a0including the original Gen 11 motor car from the Ian Flemming classic film, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Stop Motion Puppets from Willis O’Brien, items from The Wizard of Oz, Mighty Joe Young, Marilyn Monroe, The Ten Commandments, The Black, Hole, Aliens, the\u00a0original Tron,\u00a0and many other original\u00a0one of a kind items from\u00a0different film genres, including classic, horror, sci fi, comedy, musicals, and more\u00a0.<\/p>\n This auction has one of the largest\u00a0selections of rare and\u00a0never\u00a0before offered\u00a0Disney items including an unprecedented collection of\u00a0rare animation cels from\u00a0Disney and other studio\u00a0films.\u00a0Collectors can also find original\u00a0Disney\u00a0park ride cars, art, maquettes, and even a\u00a0 never before offered\u00a0Abraham Lincoln silicone head from the Lincoln Animatronic President\u00a0in\u00a0the Hall of Presidents.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Gabe Copp was kind enough to share his photos and information about the event which is just starting to wind down after the attendance of a standing room only crowd.<\/p>\n As always the\u00a0preview is\u00a0free, and open\u00a0to the public\u00a0until May 13th.\u00a0Viewing hours are 10-6pm, Tuesday thru Saturday and\u00a0closed Sunday and Monday.<\/p>\n Enjoy the photos !<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
