\"\"<\/a>Movie Prop Collectors<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> just got back from the sold out (Saturday), and almost sold out Sunday),\u00a0Megacon<\/strong><\/em><\/a> with\u00a0 friends\u00a0this past weekend. We had a great time meeting the many\u00a0artists, actors, actresses, writers, and others involved in\u00a0art, comic books, anime, sci~fi, feature\u00a0films, and television shows.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There were many\u00a0different\u00a0panels, parties, meet and greets with the conventions guests, fans in costumes, and\u00a0more at the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Guest of honor for\u00a0Megacon<\/em><\/a> was\u00a0Marvel Comics’<\/em> Stan Lee<\/em> who\u00a0was available for photo shoots and autograph sessions with fans, as well as Q&A panels.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At a\u00a0Q&A panel with fans Stan<\/em> was asked about the death of the Human Torch<\/em> and Lee<\/em> said “I don’t think comic characters ever die real deaths. They die for awhile and the next clever writer comes along and finds a way to revive them.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

When asked about working with Kevin Smith<\/em> & Jason Lee<\/em> on Mallrats<\/em> Lee said, “It was difficult. I had so much to teach them. I had to teach Kevin Smith<\/em> to be uninhibited…to say what he thinks…you know…to come out of his shell.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Lee’s<\/em> inspiration for creating Spiderman<\/em>, Lee<\/em> said, “Wouldn’t it be groovy to have a superhero who could crawl around on the wall like a fly?”\u00a0<\/p>\n

A fan asked Lee who\u00a0his favorite characters are,\u00a0and Lee<\/em> said, “Yeah me!”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fans also got to meet, Star Trek\u2019s <\/a>Captain Kirk<\/em> himself, William Shatner<\/a>, the original Hulk<\/a>, Lou Ferrigno<\/a>, Cindy Morgan<\/a>, (Caddyshack<\/a>, the original Tron<\/a>, and more),\u00a0Bruce Boxleitner<\/a> (The original Tron<\/a>, Babylon 5<\/a>, and other films).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tron and Caddyshack actress Cindy Morgan with fan &\u00a0friend Charles, who is also a Movie Prop Collectors forum\u00a0member<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I was able to speak with many of the\u00a0guests at the convention,\u00a0including\u00a0actor James Hampton<\/em>,(F Troop, Love American Style, the Doris Day Show, Gunsmoke, The China Syndrome, The Longest Yard<\/em>), actress Cindy Morgan<\/em>, ( Tron, Caddyshack<\/em>), and\u00a0actor John Schneider<\/em>, (The Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville<\/em>), and many\u00a0others.\u00a0<\/p>\n
