<\/a>I recently came across this\u00a0interesting story from the Miami AP News which was covered by mainstream media at the time.\u00a0<\/p>\n A\u00a0baby grand piano\u00a0which was used as a prop\u00a0in an\u00a0unnamed film production was set\u00a0on fire\u00a0and left\u00a0sitting on a\u00a0sand bar in\u00a0Biscayne Bay, east of Miami Shores.\u00a0<\/p>\n Four years prior it was\u00a0stored in\u00a0the garage of the mother of Burn Notice<\/a><\/em> production designer, J. Mark Harrington<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Photos & video \u00a9 Nicholas Harrington<\/p><\/div>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n His son, Nicholas Harrington<\/em>,\u00a0got the piano from his\u00a0Grandmothers garage in the hopes he could make\u00a0 a promotional video featuring the piano to get in to college.\u00a0<\/p>\n That never happened as on New Years Eve, the piano was\u00a0set on fire when crowds at a Harrington party wanted to burn it, which they did.\u00a0The fact that Nicholas’s dad worked on\u00a0Burn Notice<\/em>\u00a0is a bit\u00a0ironic ;).<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n The\u00a0following day, the piano was\u00a0left on\u00a0the sandbar where\u00a0it was\u00a0set\u00a0on fire\u00a0again, and then\u00a0left there.\u00a0<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/PianoProp1.jpg\" "\\"PianoProp1\\"")
