\"\"<\/a>I just got\u00a0back to my hotel\u00a0from Profiles in History’s<\/span><\/strong> <\/em><\/a>charity Hollywood Auction #42 at Universal Studios in Hollywood, and had an exciting time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The auction raised almost $700,000 with only 150 lots!\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/div>\n
The event was in Universals Globe Theater <\/em>and was packed full of collectors, fans, and a few celebrities including actor Jeff Conaway, Back to the Future <\/em>writer Bob Gale,<\/em> and others.<\/em><\/div>\n

Most of the lots sold, and bidders not only found some great items, their bids benefited the charities,\u00a0Michael J Fox\u2019s Team Fox for\u00a0Parkinsons Research <\/a><\/strong>, and <\/em>VARIETY-The Children\u2019s Charity of Southern California<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Profiles<\/em> had a red carpet set up with refreshments along with both auction cars, the replica Back to the Future\u00a0Delorean<\/em> and the K.I.T.T<\/em> car from Knight Rider,<\/em> as well as many of the props, costumes,<\/em> and items featured in<\/em> the auction.<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n

As always auctioneer, Stacey Roman<\/em><\/a> did a great job.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
