Today at\u00a010:30am PT\/1:30 ET, Movie Prop Collectors and various media outlets from around the world, took part of a live conference call interview with the host of the Syfy<\/a><\/strong><\/em> Channels new reality show, Hollywood Treasure<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hollywood Treasure<\/a> <\/strong><\/em>is a weekly documentary-reality series that\u00a0explores the intricate world of collecting iconic Hollywood props, costumes and memorabilia.<\/p>\n

Focusing on\u00a0science fiction, horror\u00a0and fantasy props and costumes, the series follows Joe Maddalena, Brian Chanes, Jonathan Mankuta, TracyMcCall, <\/em><\/a> and the team from Profiles in History<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, the world\u2019s largest auctioneer of original movie, television and pop culture collectibles, as they hunt for these rare, iconic and historic props, costumes, and pop culture memorabilia from Hollywood’s history.<\/p>\n

Anything can happen, and each episode is exciting, fun, and fast paced.<\/p>\n

I reviewed 2 rough cuts of the premier episodes on October 14th, and loved them. Many other media outlets have been writing great reviews as well.<\/p>\n

Joe answered everyone’s questions, including follow ups, and all of the reporters seemed to\u00a0have great things to say about the preview episodes they were sent.\u00a0Joe’s love of what he does was apparent in his knowledge and\u00a0enthusiasm during the interview. He talked about what\u00a0to\u00a0see in the show, why he does what he does, what he hoped\u00a0viewers would\u00a0take away from the show,\u00a0as well as some telling\u00a0interesting and funny\u00a0stories regarding his career.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>On Saturday November 6th <\/sup>a charity\u00a0auction\u00a0is\u00a0being held by Profiles in History\u00a0at The Globe Theatre at Universal Studios<\/strong><\/em><\/a> to benefit VARIETY-The Children\u2019s Charity of Southern California<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. Various Studios have donated items from Tron,<\/em> G.I. Joe, Twilight<\/em>, Transformers 2, Coraline <\/em>and The Chronicles of Narnia, Back to the Future, and more<\/em> to this auction.<\/p>\n

Profiles <\/strong><\/em>is joining forces with <\/strong><\/em>Michael J. Fox\u2019s Team Fox<\/strong><\/em> <\/a>to raise funds to aid in Parkinson\u2019s research.\u00a0 Back to the Future<\/em><\/strong><\/a> creator Bob Gale<\/strong><\/em><\/a>,\u00a0has donated items from his personal collection to the auction as well. There will also be items featured from\u00a0Hollywood Treasure<\/strong><\/em>. <\/strong><\/em>They will be filming for upcoming episodes at the auction.<\/p>\n
