\"\"<\/a>Every once in a while I\u00a0receive a few emails from collectors\u00a0asking my opinion\u00a0about limited edition artwork\u00a0from animated\u00a0films.<\/p>\n

While most classic animation was created\u00a0with traditional animation\u00a0cels, quite a few animated films today are created in the computer, so it is not always possible to find the\u00a0traditional cels of past films. Their are of course films still created with tradition cels, but more and more are utilizing the computer.<\/p>\n

Original animation cels from such\u00a0classic films such as MGM’s<\/a><\/em>, How The Grinch Stole Christmas<\/a><\/span><\/em>, Disney’s<\/a><\/em> Fantasia<\/a><\/span><\/em>, Snow White<\/a><\/span><\/em>, Cinderella<\/span><\/em><\/a>,\u00a0etc, are not only rare and hard to find, but they usually are\u00a0very expensive due to their being original and limited in number.<\/p>\n

Limited-editions,\u00a0gicl\u00e9e prints,\u00a0or\u00a0a combination of the two,\u00a0are an alternative to original animation cels when they are either cost prohibitive,\u00a0not available, or were\u00a0not used in creating a film.\u00a0<\/p>\n
