Profiles in History<\/em><\/strong><\/a> has announced via a press release seen at\u00a0Reuters<\/em><\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0 a very special auction featuring items from the Academy Award<\/em><\/strong><\/a> winning actress. singer, and dancer, Liza Minnelli<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, as well as items owned by her equally famous and beloved actress, singer, and dancer, mother, Judy Garland<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and her filmmaker father,\u00a0Vincente Minnelli<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Profiles<\/em>\u00a0will\u00a0be auctioning off more than 1,000 items from Liza’s, Judy’s, and Vincente’s<\/em> personal collections. The\u00a0auction entitled, “Love, Liza<\/strong><\/a>“, which will be held in May 2018 with a special showing of the auction items\u00a0April 4-29\u00a0 at the prestigious Paley Center for media<\/em><\/strong><\/a> in Beverly Hills, CA. Design house, Halston<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is sponsoring the Paley<\/em> display which will also celebrate\u00a0Liza<\/em>, and her parents, Judy Garland &\u00a0<\/em>Vincent Minnelli<\/em>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The list of items includes Liza’s iconic Cabaret<\/em><\/strong><\/a> costume consisting of her bowler hat, boots, and halter top vest,\u00a0 and her Cabaret<\/em> script, with her hand-written annotations.\u00a0The 1972 musical earned\u00a0Minnelli<\/em> a best actress Oscar<\/em><\/strong><\/a> for her<\/p>\n performance as Berlin nightclub singer, Sally Bowles<\/em> . Liza’s hand-annotated shooting script for \u201cCabaret<\/em>\u201d will also be auctioned. The\u00a0auction will include Liza’s special 1971 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow<\/em>.<\/p>\n
