Profiles is devoting its entire Comic-Con booth to McCune\u2019s vast career featuring the original, screen-used,\u00a0<i>Star Wars IV: A New Hope<\/i>\u00a018&#8243; filming miniature \u201cBlockade Runner,\u201d used in the films opening scene carrying Princess\u00a0\u00a0Leia, C-3PO and R2-D2 among its crew.\u00a0 Comic-Con fans will be treated to this rare opportunity to see this iconic piece of movie history up close and personal. The ship has not been seen or displayed publicly for close to 40 years. Mr. McCune, was the Chief Model Maker for Star Wars and was one of the primary members of the team that won the 1978 Academy Award\u00ae for Best Visual Effects\u00a0for\u00a0the film.
