Historical &\u00a0Hollywood entertainment memorabilia auction house, Profiles in History<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, is holding a series of auctions starting the week of\u00a0Wednesday, December 18th.\u00a0I was in California this weekend and\u00a0was fortunate to get an advance view of the items being offered at the auction. I shot video presentations and took photographs\u00a0of\u00a0a select group\u00a0of the items.\u00a0Profiles CEO,\u00a0Joe Maddalena<\/em> also did a few video presentations of some of the items as well.<\/p>\n

I received the ok to mention some of the items being auctioned before the releasse of the auction catalog, so enjoy this quick advance. Full video and photographic information will be published later the week of November 25th, when I arrive back in New York.<\/p>\n

Of note in Hollywood Auction 62<\/em>,\u00a0is an unprecedented collection of costumes direct from\u00a0Western Costume Company<\/em><\/strong>. Profiles was chosen by Western to auction many never before available\u00a0costumes from\u00a0their “Star Collection<\/em>“. A few highlights include: a set or fourteen costumes from “The Sound of Music<\/em>“, items from\u00a0“Gone\u00a0With the Wind<\/em>“,\u00a0“How to Marry a Millionaire<\/em>“, “Patton<\/em>“, “Charge of the Light Brigade<\/em>“, and much\u00a0more.<\/p>\n
