Exclusive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/AndrewsPoppins.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-12998\" alt=\"AndrewsPoppins\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/AndrewsPoppins.jpg\" width=\"82\" height=\"131\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/AndrewsPoppins.jpg 216w, https:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/AndrewsPoppins-187x300.jpg 187w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 82px) 100vw, 82px\" \/><\/a>Mary Poppins original screen used bag, used by Julie Andrews in the 1964 Walt Disney film, &#8220;Mary Poppins&#8221;, was auctioned in 2010 for $95,000 (over $110,00o with buyers premium added) by well known auction house, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ProfilesinHistory.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>Profiles in History<\/em><\/strong><\/a> as part of their <a class=\"pull_link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.liveauctioneers.com\/catalog\/21665\/page1\">Hollywood Auction 40.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The bag, lot #864, came from a family who were part of a segment of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.SyFy.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>SyFy<\/em><\/strong><\/a> channel show, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.syfy.com\/hollywoodtreasure\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>Hollywood Treasure<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, hosted <em>Profiles in History&#8217;s<\/em> CEO and President, <em>Joe Maddalena<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The family explained to <em>Joe<\/em> that the bag was the grand prize of some contest from the 1960&#8217;s. No further information was available at the time as to the details of the contest.<\/p>\n<p><em>Entertainment Minute<\/em> has discovered what is possibly the missing link to this mystery with photograph of the ad for the contest from 1964.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 210px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/entertainmentminute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/PoppinsEM1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-850\" alt=\"PoppinsEM1\" src=\"http:\/\/entertainmentminute.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/PoppinsEM1.jpg\" width=\"454\" height=\"605\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The contest was for Kraft Chocolates held in 1964.
