Thank you all for all your prayers and love, they meant so much to her as they did to me&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"textstyle0\">Miss Black, the multiple award winning and nominated actress in such films as 1970&#8217;s &#8220;Five Easy Pieces&#8221;(Golden Globe winner), 1974&#8217;s &#8220;The Great Gatsby&#8221;, (another Golden Globe win), Academy Award nominee also for &#8220;Five Easy Pieces&#8221;, the New York Film Critics Circle Award again for &#8220;Five Easy Pieces&#8221;, and many other awards, was battling a war with cancer which she publicly shared and fought.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"textstyle0\">My thoughts and condolences to <\/span><span data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;K&quot;}\" data-reactid=\".r[4x03m].[1][4][1]{comment10151524884835178_27182883}.[0].[right].[0].[left].[0].[0].[0][2]\"><span data-reactid=\".r[4x03m].[1][4][1]{comment10151524884835178_27182883}.[0].[right].[0].[left].[0].[0].[0][2].[0]\"><span data-reactid=\".r[4x03m].[1][4][1]{comment10151524884835178_27182883}.[0].[right].[0].[left].[0].[0].[0][2].[0].[0]\">Stephen, Hunter, Celine, Gail, and everyone part of Karen&#8217;s family.
