{"id":12202,"date":"2013-02-01T18:46:50","date_gmt":"2013-02-01T23:46:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/?p=12202"},"modified":"2013-02-01T18:46:50","modified_gmt":"2013-02-01T23:46:50","slug":"nightmare-on-elm-street-house-can-be-yours-for-2-1-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/nightmare-on-elm-street-house-can-be-yours-for-2-1-million\/","title":{"rendered":"Nightmare on Elm Street house can be yours for $2.1 million"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/ElmPoster1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-12203\" alt=\"ElmPoster1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/ElmPoster1.jpg\" width=\"97\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/ElmPoster1.jpg 483w, https:\/\/www.moviepropcollectors.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/ElmPoster1-194x300.jpg 194w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 97px) 100vw, 97px\" \/><\/a>The house featured in the <a href=\"http:\/\/wescraven.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>Wes Craven<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>1984 film, <a href=\"http:\/\/nightmareonelmstreetfilms.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>A Nightmare on Elm Stree<\/em><\/strong>t<\/a>, is for sale for the sum of $2.1 million dollars.<\/p>\n<p>The home was purchased by <a href=\"http:\/\/realestate.aol.com\/blog\/2012\/10\/12\/the-house-in-a-nightmare-on-elm-street-was-truly-scary-before\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>Angie Hill<\/em><\/strong><\/a> for a little over 1 million in 2006 ($1,150,000) according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Zillow.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>Zillow<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. <em>Zillow<\/em> lists the house having a <em>Zesitmate<\/em> (<em>Zillows<\/em> verbiage for estimate), of $1,687,152.<\/p>\n<p>According to quotes made by <em>Miss Hill<\/em> published by <a href=\"http:\/\/realestate.aol.com\/blog\/2012\/10\/12\/the-house-in-a-nightmare-on-elm-street-was-truly-scary-before\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>Aol Real Estate<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, she &#8220;<em>took apart 90 percent of the entire home &#8212; walls, ceilings, the roof &#8212; and replaced them<\/em>&#8220;, Miss Hill also said\u00a0 &#8220;<em>I replaced every piece of wood and reconfigured the floor plan.
