\"\"<\/a>Actor, George Clooney<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, is auctioning his personalty owned 2008 Tesla Roadster<\/em> automobile thru automobile auction house, Gooding & Company<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. Their Pebble Beach Auction<\/em> is being held August 19th and the auction features many rare and desirable autos of varying price points.<\/p>\n

Clooney<\/em><\/strong><\/a> <\/span>‘s<\/strong><\/span> 2008 Tesla Roadster,<\/em>is a limited edition, electric motor black metallic sports car with two-tone leather interior. The car according to Gooding’s<\/em> description is<\/span> the eighth production Tesla<\/em> model built of the car and is the world’s first high performance electric sports car. It comes complete with charging adapters and accessories.<\/p>\n

The car’s auction estimate is $100,000 – $125,000 and has only 1,825 miles on the speedometer. The car was purchased new by Mr. Clooney<\/em> and he has been the only owner.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Proceeds from the sale of the car will go to Mr. Clooney’s<\/em> Satellite Sentinel Project Protecting the Citizens of Sudan<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, a non-profit charity co-founded by Clooney<\/em> to monitor the borders of Sudan<\/em> via camera satellite.<\/span><\/p>\n
