Steve McQueen's 1968 Ford GT 40 used in the 1971, cult classic, "Le Mans", has sold this past weekend at RM Auctions Monterey sale for a record breaking $11,000,000 ! Premier auction house, Profiles in History's two day Hollywood Auction #49 has concluded today and the hammered total for the two day auction ($1.2 million yesterday, and 4.5 million today) was an astounding, $ 5.7 million dollars* not including bp.
