      Academy Award winning actress and humanitarian, Elizabeth Taylor died today at the age of 79 in California of congestive heart failure. Winner of 2 Best Actress awards for her roles in Butterfield 8 (1960) and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe (1966), Miss Taylor was known worldwide for her talent, beauty, and humanitarian work.       Many hotels for San Diego's Comic Con sold in shortly after their web site and phone lines were open at 9:AM PST on Wed, March 9th. The Comic Con web site now has a message which reads: Housing for Comic-Con is Closed at this time However, as we receive cancellation notices, we will, at a later date, make those rooms available to the public.
