Award winning Actress, singer, songwriter, & screen writer, Karen Black, is on her way to beating cancer.

Fans and friends from around the world have raised over $23,000 in an online fundraiser (well over their initial goal of $17,000, which due to high costs of medical bills was increased to $22,000) for Karen to go to Europe and received treatment for her disease.

Her husband,  Stephen Eckelberry, just posted a thank you on Facebook and the donation page to everyone who participated.

People literally overnight reached the goal overnight going from $900 to over $23,000! Go get ’em Karen!
