Jamie Lee Curtis HorrorHound appearance a huge success

I just came home after spending a fun weekend at the HorrorHound Weekend Indianapolis convention and while I am beat, I’m happy to report I, and thousands of others, had an exciting and memorable time.

Actress and author, Jamie Lee Curtis, made a one time only appearance at the event & fans snapped up tickets to the convention only minutes after originally going on sale prior to the show. Miss Curtis’s appearance was set up by director, writer, actor, producer, and Convention All Stars CEO, Sean Clark.

In addition to the one time only appearance of Miss Curtis, the HorrorHound Indy show also featured many well known actors & actresses, as well as a few authors, artists, and vendors. Convention goers had the opportunity to meet Tom Atkins, Adrienne Barbeau, many of the cast from the original Halloween, including, Nick Castle, Tommy Lee Wallace, Nancy Stephens, Charles Cyphers, Brian Andrews, & Will Sandin, as well as many other horror & Halloween themed guests.

Check out the 1080P HD video of the Jamie Lee’s entire Q & A panel held Saturday, November 17, 2012:

The vendor room was easily manageable and many attendees appeared to be enjoying themselves with meeting their favorite convention guests(s).

Jamie Lee Curtis was the lady of the hour, and she did not disappoint. Joking with fans in her autograph room (well actually, it was an auditorium due the massive amount of fans waiting to meet her), telling stories, and she actually seemed to truly enjoy and appreciate all of the fans who had come to meet her. All of Miss Curtis’s fees went 100% to The Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles so her appearance was a win/win for both fans and the hospital.

For those fans unable to attend Jamie’s panel on Saturday, November 17th, I shot her Q & A panel in 1080p and it can be seen above. (Sorry for the few shakes, but I did not have my tripod because originally there was to be no filming of the panel as it was being filmed for an upcoming documentary so I did not bring it with me. Once the panel started people filmed without a problem though.)
