ScreenUsed second online November auction hammers $222,000.

Online Hollywood memorabilia dealer, ScreenUsed, has just concluded their online November 3rd auction today and the 411 lot auction hammered almost a quarter of a million dollars with $222,000,(up from their (premier July auction). After factoring in BP or buyers premium (18%, the lowest for this type of auction), the auction total was $261,960, which was also higher than their first(premier July auction) total.

189 of the 411 lots sold and there were some items that had many people bidding furiously over the internet.

According to Screen Used co owner, Desi Dos Santos, there were 278 registered bidders, including bidders from 20 different countries who took part in the auction. The average price per lot was $1386 (after buyers premium) (up from last auction), and there were 99 unique bidders that purchased the 189 lots

For the few bidders who may have had issues getting i-collector to load (as I did), I must point out that ScreenUsed had a practice run a week ago so you could check for issues, and hopefully you participated. I didn’t, 🙁 , and instead waited until today, auction day. Luckily myself and someone from i-collector troubleshooted and figured the issue my PC had out. If anyone received a “security error message” will trying to open the live bidding i-collector software do the following. First remove Java. Then go to your “C” drive, find “users“, click on that, then locate “App Data“, click that, and check for any “Sun” folders you may have in “Local” then delete the “Sun” folder. After doing so download “Java“. Once I did this the i-collector software opened fine.
