Actress, author, philanthropist, and photographer, Jamie Lee Curtis made an exclusive video announcement via Dread Central late last night and the internet is buzzing.

In the video, Jamie Lee announces her upcoming, one time only, convention appearance at HorrorHound Weekend, taking place November  16th thru the 18th at the Indianapolis Marriott East, located at 7202 East 21st Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46219. Ms. Curtis’s appearance at HorrorHound Weekend is this one and only time, and she will not be making the “convention rounds” as some news organizations have suggested. It should also be mentioned that Sean Clark of Convention All Stars was integral in making her appearance happen.

I cannot emphasize the importance of this news. Jamie Lee Curtis has never done a horror convention such as this and she will be doing this only one time.

I am sure the event will sell out fast because of Jamie’s crossover appeal not only for her popularity as an actress, but her being a critically acclaimed and best selling author as well. Ms Curtis’s children’s books are extremely popular so I would not be surprised if they are part of the convention as well. Be sure to get your tickets early as soon as they become available.

Another great thing about this appearance is that the ALL monies raised from Jamie’s Q&A panel, autograph, and photo ops, will go to a very important charity. The Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Jamie Lee will be appearing Saturday, November 17th, and Sunday, November, 18th. There will also be many other top notch actors, actresses, and artists at the convention including director and actor, Nick Castle (who also played the original Michael Myers), actors, Tommy Lee Wallace, Dick Warlock, Chris Durand, Brad Loree, Charles Cyphers, Tom Atkins.
