Christie’s 50 YEARS OF JAMES BOND THE AUCTION catalog available

 

Christie’s Auctions has published their “50 YEARS OF JAMES BOND AUCTION” pdf online. Their are some pretty amazing original props, costumes, and ephemera from the popular Bond film series up for grabs for fans. Readers can download the PDF HERE.

The online only auction is being held from September 28th until October 8th, 2012. It consists of 40 lots with and additional 10 lots being auctioned live to those bidders invited to participate at Christie’s South Kensington location on London.

The auction of 50 total lots coincide with the 50th anniversary of James Bond on film. The auction which will present a special opportunity for fans to acquire a piece of Bond memorabilia direct from the archives of EON Productions as well as donations from Bond cast members.

Proceeds will benefit 12 charities including UNICEF.

Auction highlights include:

Lot #3: A collection of Hotel Fontainebleau props used in “Goldfinger”. £1,500–2,500 US$2,300–3,800 €1,700–2,800.

Lot# 5: A set of four prop suction pads used by Sean Connery as James Bond in “You Only Live Twice”, A prop fibreglass shotgun seen in “You Only Live Twice”. £1,500–2,500 US$2,300–3,800 €1,700–2,800

Lot #7: A reproduction of a section of the floor map and a collection of original miniature models from Willard Whyte’s penthouse in “Diamonds are Forever”. A prop Whyte House ID badge made for “Diamonds Are Forever”. A digital reproduction print of original concept artwork by Sir Ken Adam titled (Roughs) Diamond Satellite. £1,000–1,500US$1,600–2,300 €1,200–1,700.

Lot #8: A selection of ten prop tarot cards designed by Fergus Hall, used by Jane Seymour as Solitaire in “Live and Let Die“. An original film script for “Live and Let Die“. £800–1,200 US$1,200–1,800 €900–1,300.

Lot #12. A highly detailed scale model by Derek Meddings of the space shuttle Moonraker 1. A digital reproduction of an original concept art work by Sir Ken Adam titled Moonraker, Ext. Space Station. £8,000–12,000 US$12,000–18,000 €9,000–13,000.
