Comic Con 2012 passes sell out in minutes.

 

 

At 8 a.m. Pacific and 11 a.m. Eastern, admission badges for San Diego’s 2012 Comic Con went on sale and four day passes were sold out within minutes. Not longer after, single day admission passes were gone too.

Comic Con 2012 takes place Thursday July 12th thru Sunday, July 15th, with an additional preview day being held Wednesday evening, July 14th. Comic Con is the largest convention of its’ kind in the United States that showcases comic books, science fiction/fantasy, film and television as well as related popular arts. The convention allows fans as well as professionals to mingle and experience a vast entertainment atmosphere with literally something for everyone.

Ticket prices were/are:

Adult admission for any single day, Thur-Sat $40, Sunday $23, Thur-Sunday (all four days) without preview night $150, Sun-Thur, with Wed preview night$175.

Juniors (ages 13-17) for any single day, Thur-Sat $20, Sunday $11, Thur-Sunday(all four days) without preview night $75, Sun-Thur, with Wed preview night $87.

Military and Seniors(those 60 and over) pay the same discounted admission as Juniors.
