“Bond in Motion” James Bond movie cars at National Motor Museum

 

2012 marks an important  anniversary for fans of the James Bond film franchise. It is the 50th anniversary of series. 2012 also marks the 40th anniversary of the National Motor Museum and the 60th anniversary of Beaulieu opening its doors to the public.

To celebrate these important milestones Beaulieu’s National Motor Museum is presenting, “Bond in Motion“, the largest collection of original cars used in the James Bond film series.

 

Cars on display include the Aston Martin DB5 and the Lotus Esprit S1,  “From Russia With Love’s”, Fairey Huntress Speedboat, “Goldfinger’s” 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III, the autogyro from “You Only Live Twice”, as well as the Acrostar Jet , from “Octopussy“.

Cars from the Bond films of  Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig are also seen in the exhibition as well.

There are a total of 50 cars to celebrate 50 years of Bond and the museum has a search function to see the vehicles featured in the once in a lifetime exhibition.
