The Specialists Ltd. according to their web site, is “the east coast leader in prop weapons rental, fabrication and training, a full service prop house and fabrication facility with effects and custom graphics services.”

Originally known as Weapons Specialists Limted, the company was started by company President, Rick Washburn. In 2010 Rich and his son, Ryder who is Vice President of the firm, changed the company name to The Specialists Ltd. They have been around since 1981 and have offered prop fabrication services since 2007 and became a full service prop house this year. Their prop services range from graphics and special prop building, to prop rentals, weapons special effects, as well as training in the use of firearms for films.
