Heritage Auctions John Wayne auction reaches $5,383,209 in sales

Heritage Auctions The Personal Property of John Wayne Signature Auction #7045, made an astounding $5,383,209 in auction sales during the two day auction.

The auction was a  big success with many of the lots selling way above auction estimates. Heritage was very busy fielding bids from all over the world.

While I was watching the auction live online, I noticed many bidding wars amongst John Wayne fans who seemed to not hesitate bidding on a particular item or group of items.

Even at the last second some items would continue on for a few more bids due to bidders placing last second bids.

Below are auction highlights courtesy of Heritage Auctions.
