Profiles in History, Team Fox, & Comic Con fans give for Parkinson’s

I was fortunate to attend Comic Con again this year and it did not disappoint. While there was literally something for everyone, one special thing to check out and see was booth #1605.

Booth #1605 sponsored by premier auction house Profiles in History, teamed up with Michael J Fox’s foundation, Team Fox to raise money for Parkinson’s research.

There was a special presentation of the original Delorean car from the Michael J Fox/Christoper Lloyd film, Back to the Future 3 as well as a rare and some never before seen museum of original props and costumes from all three Back to the Future films.

Comic Con attendees were able to actually get in the original screen used Delorean seen and driven by Michael J Fox in the film, and have their picture taken by Oliver and Terry Holler from Team Fox for a donation of $20.

100% of the proceeds raised went to Team Fox  for Parkinson’s research. The booth was packed the entire convention, which meant that quite a bit was raised for the foundation.

Back to the Future stars Claudia Wells (Jennifer), Billy Zane (Match), and Jeffrey Weissman ( George in BTF parts 1 and 2) joined Profiles and Team Fox signing autographs and posing for photos with fans.

Profiles CEO and SyFy Hollywood Treasure host, Joe Maddalena lent a hand, as well as volunteers who assisted throughout the convention.

Delorean car owner, Desi Dos Santos greeted BTF fans, and helped take photos for Team Fox.

Here is a quick video montage of the 5 days at the booth.
