The Chicago home used in the 1986 John Hughes film ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’, is up for sale with an asking price of $1.6 million. Much less than the 2.3 million the home was listed for in 2009.
The home is 5,300 square feet and was built in 1953. Is is known as the Ben Rose Home after its former owner, photographer Ben Rose. The glass garage over the wooded area shown in the movie still exists.
