First day of LOST auction a HUGE success !

The first day of the Profiles in History  and ABC LOST auction event was a huge success. The Barker Hangar had 500 seats set up and the hangar was packed!

Fans of the hit ABC television series were excited and when they entered the event, were greeted by amazing set pieces, props, costumes, and artwork. There also was a video room where they had access to the Blu Ray and DVD versions of season 6, before the national release this coming Tuesday.

While I was watching the sneak peak of the season 6 Blu Ray, I was treated to a behind the scenes featurette of the main actors and actresses with many of the props in the auction. I also saw Profiles in History tags on the prop storage bins and even the prop master himself talked about the props. I received some information about a certain prop that is in the auction that I will be sharing with readers soon 😉

Fans and bidders started lining up @ 730am Saturday morning for the 9am admission time.

Event attendees were treated to a recreation of the many LOST sets with original full size props and set pieces, as well as interactive displays throughout the the Barker Hangars huge airplane hangar the event was held in.

Beginning of guest walk in set.

Fans lined up for the many photo ops available throughout the event.

LOST cast member, the talented and very cool Danny Roebuck, who played the explosive Dr.Arzt, was at the event meeting and greeting fans, posing for photos, and autographing. Dan made Dr.Arzt  so popular, the writers for LOST brought his character back in flashbacks for the fans.

Day one of the auction had every lot sold and many of them for many times the estimates.

I will be posting more photos, interviews, auction results and more in the next day or so, so stay tuned!
