Exclusive: Judy Garland Ruby slipper to be auctioned !

Exclusive preview of one of the most recognized movie props in film history. One of Judy Garlands production used Ruby slippers.

The slipper, along with a handful of ruby beads from one of the jeweled slippers, will be auctioned in May 2010 by auction house, Profiles in History.

This HD video features the CEO and President of Profiles in History, Joe Maddalena, describing the origin and use of the shoe during the production of the classic film, The Wizard of Oz.

Here is a still from an A and E special about the Ruby Slippers with what appears to be this shoe or it’s companion.

    Great find and I hope the new owner(s) will appreiacate it. And since its only one shoe, be careful, you may end up in someplace like Yonkers, NY if one isnt careful…..ol
