I am live online with the Profiles In History auction on Ebay.
The Jack wire puppet from Nightmare Before Christmas (estimate $12,000-$15,000) sold for $20,000 with a whopping 16 bids.
While the Superman Cape, (estimate, $25,000-$30,000) seemed to not have any bids, and did not sell. Checking the system on Ebay, I see it is still listed with 36 min remaining in the auction. Not sure what is going on there.
The scorpion from The Scorpion, (estimate $40,000-$60,000), had 2 bids with the winning bid of $42,500. Lucky bidder on that nice piece.
Julie Andrews original coat from the iconic film, Mary Poppins (estimate $60,000-$80,000) sold for $55,000 with 1 bid.
Prices are varied, with some lots going for the starting estimate, and others going thru the roof, as in the Terminator 2 pieces, so far.
T-1000 costume from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, (estimate, $6,000-$8,000) sold for $11,000 with 21 bids.
The Future war stunt machine gun from The Terminator, (estimate, $600-800) sold for $3,000, with 6 bids.
The Screen-used endoskeleton figure from Terminator 2, (estimate, $80,000-$100,00) with 20 bidders, sold for $425,000 !
Full body Terminator from Terminator 3, (estimate, $60,000-$80,000) had 2 bidders sold for $65,000.
T-1 armored drone from Terminator 3 (estimate, $60,000-$80,000) had 8 bids and sold for $95,000.
Teddy - Spielbergs AI: Artificial Intelligence (estimate, $12,000-$15,000) sold with 18 bids for a high of $45,000.
Screen-used Kip Killagin puppet - Small Soldiers (estimate, $12,000-$15,000) had no bids and did not sell.
None of the Small Soldiers props sold, so I am guessing they were pulled from the auction for one reason or another.
My heart is beating so fast right now. This is very exciting.
