Premier Auction House, Profiles in History, will have its Summer 2007 Hollywood Memorabilia auction, on August 2nd and 3rd. They have over 1,000 lots so they need two days for this huge event!

Here are a few items the auction will feature,

Elvis Presley’s personal Karate Gi, donated by Graceland to McCormick Distillery, in order to make the Elvis “Karate” liquor decanter. Est. $20,000 - 25,000

The Full-size ‘Johnny 5’ hero robot, used in both "Short Circuit 1 & 2". Est. $100,000 - $150,000

The Original ‘General Lee’ 1969 Dodge Charger, used in the original TV series, "The Dukes of Hazzard", with full Warner Bros. paperwork. Est. $180,000 - $220,000

This looks to be "the" auction event of 2007!

Thanks for the info.

I love that ST phaser. I better start saving up. I hope they have more ST items.

The little movie of the items you included is wicked.

Thanks for the heads up. I have never bid or gotten anything from Profiles but I do enjoy watching them and tracking the outcomes.

Sometimes they have some great pieces and sometimes it is scary at some of the prices which are realized.

That Star Trek gun is an amazing prop
I was planning on putting in a big bid around the high estimate but a friend of ours is planning on going even higher so looks like we will back down for him :(
There could be fireworks with this one, especially if the sci-fi museum decide they want another one.
The commission makes a big difference too
