Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum Opening Fall 2008.

Legendary actress, singer, dancer, humanitarian, and all around great lady, Debbie Reynolds, will be opening up her Hollywood Motion Picture Museum in the fall of 2008. Located on Belle Island, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the museum will feature a collection valued at more than $50 million and estimated to be the largest private collection of Hollywood memorabilia in the world.

Debbie's collection contains more than 3,500 costumes, props, movie posters, still photos, lobby cards and other items. Original film clips relating to the artifacts will also be featured.

Thanks for posting the information. We've had the pleasure of communicating with Ms. Reynolds over the years while she's been in the process of amassing this truly one of a kind collection.

Very pleased to hear that the public will finally be able to view her impressive collection soon. I hope they cover the collection extensively on their website. Bit of a drive to Tennessee from where I'm located unfortuanately ;-)

Welles wears only one fur coat in KANE. It is the scene after Susan's operatic debut in Chicago. It is full length and very dark; it photographs as black.

The piece, shown on her website, looks like it is the one he wears in "JOURNEY INTO FEAR".

Of course, if it has a Western Costume label, the mystery would be solved.
