There is an auction on Ebay for an original Star Trek tri corder from the 1966 series for $12,000. Something does not look right to me so a few friends and I have notified Ebay to check it out. Could it be a Marc English phoney?
The seller on Ebay says in their description- THIS PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS", and the seller makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the title, merchantability, fitness or condition of the property or as to the correctness of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance or period of the property. All that gibberish means they do not guarantee the prop is real.
